At Anhui Innovation Pavilion, celebration for the 2020 Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day for high-level foreign experts working in Anhui is held on the afternoon of Sept. 22. Dr. Thomas Weise of HFU, professor of School of Artificial Intelligence and Big Data and head of Institute of Applied Optimization, attends it together with more than 30 other foreign experts from 11 countries.
Prof. Dr. Thomas Weise delivers a speech on the behalf of these experts after English versions of The Governance of China by Xi Jinping (III) are presented to them.
In his speech, he introduces his team and scientific research in HFU, and expresses his appreciation for the rapid development of Anhui Province and Hefei City in the past decade together with his gratitude for the provincial and municipal governments for their support and care. He also expresses his firm belief that the book The Governance of China by Xi Jinping (III) will help him better understand the great driving policies and decision-making capabilities of China.
