Three Courses Approved as ones in the First Batch of National First-class Undergraduate Courses

On Dec. 1st, Ministry of Education announces the first batch of China’s National First-class Undergraduate Courses, among which are such three offline courses of Hefei University as “Engineering Applied Mathematics A”supervised by Professor Chen Xiu, “Communication Fundamentals” by Associate Professor Duan Huimin and “Sub-domain Logistics II: Enterprise Logistics”by Professor Wang Xiaoyan.

According to the announcement, as the current highest-level undergraduate courses in China, altogether 3560 courses are approved as the first batch of National First-class Undergraduate Courses, including 717 online courses, 327 virtual simulation experimental courses, 1464 offline courses, 868 online-offline hybrid courses, and 184 social practice courses, which aim to change the curriculum concept, reconstruct the course form and content, optimize the teaching design and innovate the teaching method, so as to achieve the overall improvement of curriculum quality in a long run.

In recent years, Hefei University has taken various measures to promote the construction of high-quality curriculum. In the future, the University will keep making efforts to meet the demands of the “Double-Ten-Thousand Plan” of the First-class Undergraduate Course, to improve the curriculum construction and talent training with new breakthroughs.
