On August 6th, Chinese Men's Epee Team, composed of Lan Minghao from HFU and three other fencers, won a silver medal in the 31st Summer World University Games in Chengdu.
This is the second medal claimed by HFU students after the gold medal by Women's Epee Team on the evening of August 5th, defeating Italy 34:28. One of the team members is Tang Junyao, a student in HFU as well.
So far, HFU has devoted to one gold and one silver medal in this year's Universiade. Fencing is a distinctive sport in HFU, and in recent years the University has trained numerous excellent players for Chinese fencing team.
